Sorry for late reply but I've been away, well... I still am .
Thank you for your offer but I have to refuse for following reasons:
- some strings require completely different syntax in English and that change can be only accomplished by changing game code - without it they're garbled;
- some text is drawn on DGL graphics which will require additional DGL file along with changed references in game code (not much but related to reason above);
- I have a very long notes file with various comments regarding translation process - unfortunately most of it is in Polish (my native language) and I don't plan on translating it to English or other language;
- I'm using very weird way to translate strings - for someone other than me deciphering it can be very confusing and time consuming (some connected to notes file);
- it's personal - I've started translating B2 few years ago when Markus' tool wasn't even available, but was forced to drop the translation when my HDD crashed along with all translations I've made (I believe I was around 20% then, but there was more work involved like watching strings length, etc.). I will finish this translation even if it will finish me ;
It's not really the matter of translation or cinema, as right now I don't have time for either one. If demand for translation won't change (only one person beside me) I'll give priority to cinema reimplementation when I'll have time. But first, there are few known bugs to root out, not to mention that Markus has a very long list of small changes to the game he would like me to work on... .
I hope you'll understand and won't take it the wrong way.
